Rangamati is in the Chittagong Hill
Tracts of Bangladesh. It’s a travel destination
of Bangladesh, which is known as “'Lake
City". From Chittagong a 77 km road amidst
green fields and winding hills leads to Rangamati; which
is a wonderful repository of scenic splendors with flora
and fauna of varied descriptions. The township is located
at the western bank of Kaptai lake. Rangamati is a favorite
holiday destination because of its beautiful landscape,
scenic beauty, lake, colorful tribes (Chakma, Marma
etc.), its flora a fauna tribal museum, hanging bridge,
homespun textile products, ivory jewellery and the tribal
men and women who fashion them. For tourists , the attractions
are numerous. Tribal life, fishing, speed boat cruising,
hiking, bathing or merely enjoying nature as it is.|
Bandarban is one of the three hill
districts of Bangladesh. It is a place of mountains,
lakes, waterfalls, Buddhist Temples, and Tribal Villages.
The three highest peaks of Bangladesh- Tahjindong (1280
Meters also known as Bijoy). Mowdok Mual (1052 M) and
Keokradong (1230 m) are located in Bangladesh. As well
as, Raikhieng lake, the largest lake in Bangladesh.
Chimbuk peak and Boga lake are two more highly noted
features of Bandarban.The Buddhist Dhatu jadi, the largest
Buddhist temple in Bangladesh. 4 km from Bandarban town
is an excellent place to visit . This Buddhist temple
is made completely in the style of south east asia and
houses the second largest statue of Buddha in Bangladesh.
The waterfall named Shoilo Prophat is also an excellent
site. Bandarban is a place of rare natural beauties
and which always attracts the tourists.
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to hotel in Dhaka,
Check In, free time, Night stay at hotel
Day
2: Take the morning flight to Chittagong. Upon
arrival, drive to Rangamati (77km/2.5 hrs.). Check-in
and lunch at Parjatan motel. Afternoon lake cruise and
visit Tribal village. Dinner and overnight at the motel/hotel.
Day 3: After breakfast sightseeing in Rangamati
including the Buddhist temple, Chakma King's Palace,
Tribal Handloom Factory, etc. After an early lunch,
drive to Bandarban (3hrs)and check-in to Bandarban Hill
resorts / Local hotel. Guide will lead you for hiking
down the Sangu river or walk around the Bhom tribal
villages near the Shaila Propat. Dinner and overnight
stay at the resort /hotel.
Day
4: After breakfast, you will visit one of the
highest peaks of Bangladesh at Chimbuk. On way back,
visit the Marma and Bhom tribal villages. After lunch
check-out and drive to Chittagong airport. En route
sightseeing of Ethnological Museum (If open), Shrine
of Bayzid Bostami, and War Cemetery. Take the evening
flight to Dhaka. Upon arrival, we shall transfer you
to your hotel in Dhaka
Day 5: Breakfast , Dhaka city tour, transfer
to Airport for departure
